Of course I do. Don’t insult me. I was asking why the Stark girls wouldn’t be able to return with me… “hypothetically.”

Of course, forgive me if I have insulted you. Haven’t you heard how cruel my sweet nephew is? He wouldn’t like to give away such beautiful girls.

*frowns* What are you saying, Lord Tyrion? That you will not give us back the girls?

Why, it was only a hypothetical question, Lady Brienne. I do, however, except an answer.

*glares* Then you would not get your brother back.

maimedlion asked: "Even with what I am now?" It was a question that needed answering, though it pained him to ask. The lack of a hand would always play on his mind, and had played a role in the falling out he'd had with his sister. Would it do the same to them now? But she had always seemed to accept it, for some reason he could not understand. "I will do all in my power to make you happy. I won't hurt you, I swear it." He couldn't hurt her, and he would destroy any who made an attempt to do so.

“With what you are now?” Brienne repeated his question, confused. Was he referring to his hand? Did he truly think such a thing made a difference in how she felt about him? If anything, it made her love him more. Watching as he overcame the loss of his hand with such strength and resolve had made her heart pound with love for him.

“Jaime, don’t be a fool,” she told him sternly. “If you truly think such a thing would cause me to love you any less, then you insult me. I love you for you, understand? Not for your hand, but for you. Do not belittle my feelings for you by thinking in such a way any longer, understand?”

She sighed as she held him close. “I’m sorry,” she muttered. “I just… don’t like hearing you talk that way. As if you think so lowly of yourself. You are a good man, Jaime. A great man. Please, if you believe nothing else I’ve said, believe that.” She pressed a soft kiss to the bridge of his nose.

maimedlion asked: meme!: He took comfort in her presence there, his skin bare against hers, reminding him that what they'd done last night was real, and that now she was truly his. The maid of Tarth was a maid no longer, and had shared her bed with a lion. A smile playing on his lips, Jaime kissed her softy, as gentle as he ever could be, even though he had no need to be so with her. She had accepted him, the cripple that he was, and he loved her for it. "Good morning," Jaime whispered, his tone soft.

Brienne awoke to a soft pair of lips kissing her softly. “Mmm… Jaime?” she murmured, eyes still closed. She didn’t want to open them. She feared that last night had a dream, and she would open her eyes and find herself alone once again. But when she finally did open her eyes, she found she was looking into the eyes of a smiling Jaime. It was real.

“Good morning,” she replied with a smile. She reached up and pressed her lips to his once more, kissing him softly yet firmly. My lion.

freewomanosha asked: [/dohohohohoho] ... When a woman lies with another woman, that is when the alcohol was better than the mind has experienced before in it's life.

“Mmm…” Brienne whimpered. Where was she? Her head was killing her. Turning over, she came face to face with… a woman? Brienne shot up in bed, despite the pounding of her head. Her face flushed, she opened and closed her mouth a few times before finally finding her voice.

“W-What… who are you?” she stuttered.

on our way

maimedlion:

When she had at last fallen asleep, Jaime had moved from the bed, preferring to leave it to her, especially when sleep seemed to flee from his grasp. He could not sleep now, not yet. There was too much on his mind, and where once he might have thought nothing about sleeping next to her.. There was something about it that left him feeling as awkward as a young boy. Just what was it about this woman that left him feeling so?

He fed the fire with what little wood they had been provided, and once he had finished with that he moved to sit in the chair closest to it, facing the flames as he did so. He watched them twist and spark for some time in silence, not noting how the hours went by and still sleep did not come to him. I have gone longer without rest before, so it is no issue in the end. Brienne slept fitfully anyway, and so he doubted he truly would have been able to find any means of sleep beside her, even if he had been weary enough to sleep.

When at last she stirred, he was aware of it though he made no move to look at her, until she spoke, pulling him from this thoughts, which had been on Tyrion, and that night where he’d told him the truth of Tysha.

“Good morning, Brienne,” he nodded in greeting, and rose from the chair, his muscles protesting from the hours he’d spent unmoving. “I am well enough; certainly better than I have been in the past. But..” he paused. “Are you quite well? I could not help but to note that all did not seem well in your sleep. A dream, perhaps?” Or was it just a fitful sleep, as all seemed to have from time to time? Regardless, he seemed to be showing some concern for her well being.

“I… yes, I am fine, thank you,” Brienne replied, surprised at Jaime’s sudden show of concern. “It was probably just a dream. I don’t remember it, though. But Jaime…” You know you can talk to me, she wanted to say. You can trust me. I only want to understand you, to help you. Please, let me.

Instead, she shook her head and forced a smile. “Never mind, it was nothing. Shall we break our fast?”

Your muse just woke up NAKED next to my muse. Reaction?

maimedlion asked: "You already have made me happier than you know." Such a simple thing, but something he need to say regardless. For it was true. She had made him happy; more so than he'd been in so long, and he wanted her to know it. Jaime was not an ungrateful man, but still, it was almost difficult to reveal this truth. What if this was some dream, and she truly did not feel as he did? Or what if she would change her mind? "Truly... you will have me?"

Brienne nearly laughed out loud at his words. Could it be he had the same insecurities as her? How could that be? Every woman in the Seven Kingdoms would do anything to be with Jaime Lannister, and yet he felt unsure of her feelings? She should be the one worrying about such things, not him.

Gently, she pulled away from him slightly, only to bring her hands to caress his face and press her forehead against his.

“Jaime,” she began in a serious tone, looking him directly in the eyes. “Nothing in this world, nothing in the Seven Heavens, would make me happier than to be yours. To have your love, as you have mine. As long as I have that, have you, I need nothing else.”

imagetyrionlionlannister replied to your post: My lady. May I ask you a hypothetical question?

I’ve heard that you swore to Lady Stark to return my brother to us if we give you Sansa and Arya. What would happen if those girls couldn’t return with you?

*warily* …How do you mean, my lord?

It was a hypothetical question, my Lady. Do you know what hypothetical means?

Of course I do. Don’t insult me. I was asking why the Stark girls wouldn’t be able to return with me… “hypothetically.”
